ABOUT THE ND TIMES
The North Dundas Times is a free community newspaper based in Winchester, ON and serving the communities of North Dundas, including Winchester, Chesterville, South Mountain, Mountain, Inkerman, Hallville, Morewood, and various other smaller settlements.
The ND Times is distributed to residents for free via Canada Post. Advertisers pay to keep you informed about the great products and services offered by local businesses that serve our area. We throw in quality local news stories and press releases from countless sources, so that all the information you need is delivered for free in one convenient and timeless format. And voila - the ND Times is born!
The ND Times was founded in 2020 by David Shanahan and Marguerite Boyer, who by that time had been printing The North Grenville Times in their hometown of Kemptville for nearly a decade, and a local newsletter before that. They wanted the North Dundas community to have free local print news, just like folks in North Grenville. In 2025, long time editor Brandon Mayer - a proud local resident of North Dundas - purchased The North Dundas Times, making it a truly local publication. Jenn Mann joined the team to help local businesses with their marketing needs, and Sarah McLeod came on board to help with layout design. Melissa Ottenhof completes our team by providing support with operations behind the scenes. Together, we print the ND Times right in Winchester, thanks to our friends at Winchester Print & Stationery.
